Nicole Carey, PhD
Administrative Coordinator
Nicole Carey, PhD, is a dynamic social scientist and organizational strategist based in Indianapolis, with a strong commitment to equity and community engagement. She is the founder of Indy Equity Collaborative, JUST Community Inc., and Anda Spanish, organizations dedicated to research, holistic wellness, and cultural education. Nicole’s work in equitable leadership and coalition building, grounded in design thinking and indigenous methodologies, drives her systems-level strategies. As a member of the Indianapolis Public School Board for District 5 and a mother of five, Nicole is passionately focused on creating a fairer, more inclusive world for the next generation.
